About

As a persistent romantic, I believe in the transformative power of the film to inspire, change and educate. Therefore, I make films that tell authentic stories inspired from real peoples’ experiences.

When I’m not making films, I’m taking photographs, as this is the place where it all started for me. In my practice I have utilized all my technical and people skills, art education and background influences, to be effective and inspired but also true. This combination of qualities has proven to be successful, as my career so far suggests, but also exciting and time-proof. This is because it allows you to explore freshly and openly every factor you cannot control: humans, social dynamics, filming setbacks.

And there lies the importance of documentary filmmaking, to respect and trust the process in order to create meaningful stories and impactful visuals. This passion is what drives me, and it’s what I hope to pass on to inspire the next generation of filmmakers.
