I enjoy working with beginners of any age, as each brings a fresh perspective. I am especially fascinated by how film shapes narrative, perception, and emotion. Many newcomers don’t immediately grasp how filmmaking transforms reality—how choices in structure, pacing, and approach can shift meaning in unexpected ways. My goal is to guide them through this discovery, helping them develop their ideas with clarity while telling stories that remain authentic.
In the early stages of creation, no idea is inherently weak or strong—what matters is how it is explored, refined, and framed. My teaching approach is hands-on, focused on practice, discussions, and brainstorming. Creativity flourishes through experimentation, and even the simplest idea can become powerful when viewed through the right lens. By fostering critical thinking, I help students trust their instincts, challenge their assumptions, and discover their unique voice in storytelling. With the right depth and perspective, even the simplest concept can evolve into something meaningful and impactful.
