The film examines a 2005 incident where several women were dismissed from a small French company and offered relocation to Romania for a salary of 110 Euros, about one tenth of France's minimum wage at that time. The documentary transforms this controversial proposal into a genuine exchange, following one of the former French employees as she travels to Romania to understand the realities of living on such a wage and to meet the local workers.
